TeamPatent dynamically shows errors in the context of your document,
coloring a part, claim term, or callout red if there's a problem.
Clicking on a red element shows the cause of the error.
TeamPatent helps you use terms consistently:
Part names are automatically recognized as you type.
Thereafter, autosuggestion or autocompletion encourages consistent usage. When you type an
inconsistent part variant, it's colored in red (like a spelling checker). Clicking on a red,
inconsistent term
shows the other variants and asks you to fix the error or to confirm new variant is an acceptable synonym.
TeamPatent allows you to acknowledge a warning with two clicks.
Thereafter, the warning disappears and you'll never have to consider it
again. Terms are recognized conservatively and when TeamPatent makes a
mistake, you can unlink or change which words are considered part of a
term with two clicks.
TeamPatent supports the figures as well as the specification,
allowing the entire application to live in one place and automatically
validating that figure references are matched to artwork and reference
numerals are matched to callouts.
"Coordinating numbers between specification and
images is the bane of a patent attorney's existence yet consequences of
getting any of them wrong is extremely dire. Attorneys tend to write it
and hand off to paralegal...stupid use of resources. Takes paralegal an
hour or so...they'll review whether pages are omitted, terms used
consistently, etc. Complete gruntwork and waste of time...improving that
would be a huge asset."

TeamPatent is collaborative and browser-based, allowing any number
of inventors and patent professionals to work together simultaneously
without installing any software.
TeamPatent is currently free and will later be billed on a per-document
basis, allowing inventors to use it ad hoc and patent
professionals to pass on the cost to their clients.
