Position: Front End Lead Developer
Location: Alameda, CA

Job Description:
Architect, develop, and test a collaborative, multimedia word processor implemented in
JavaScript with Dojo library. Maintain open-source projects including core Dojo text
and image editors and contribute patches to browsers (e.g. Firefox, WebKit). Design
and implement backend prototypes in Python and PostgreSQL on Amazon Web Service
EC2 and S3 to assist back-end development. Build automatic, end-to-end functional test
system to prevent regressions. May be assigned to various projects using skills.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Masters in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field and 1 year
experience in the job offered or in a related Software Engineering position, including
Systems Engineering Consultant and Research Assistant.

Additional Requirements:
Experience and/or education must include 1) Design and implementation experience of
Dojo Java Script rich text editor, 2) Experience with databases in both design and access
methodology, 3) Design and implementation of interpreted server-side (e.g. PHP, Python)
web services, 4) Software internationalization, and 5) Open-source contributions. Any
suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable.
